Hi
How can I get the vma to shutdown the whole data center? We have two esxi4.1 hosts I would like the vma to be able to shut down the whole environment. I have scripts that will close down all the vm's on the servers except for the vma, it can then put one of esxi hosts in maintenance mode and shut it down. The problem I have is the vma is sitting on the other hosts how do I get it to shut down it self and the host it is sitting on and be able to do this gracefully. Any ideas appreciated. I am hoping this can be done otherwise my only other option is set up a stand alone system that can then issue the commands.
