I've just installed VMA on my ESXi server, but when I start the Red Hat Linux guest OS I get "Your CPU does not support long mode". when I look this up I found the following thread.[ http://communities.vmware.com/message/1320585|m-1320585] so I assumedthat the processor doesn't support Intel VT.
However my processor is an Intel Xeon E5320 and on http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=28031&processor=E5320&spec-codes=SL9MV,SLAC8,SLAEL is suggests that this does support Intel VT.
So I'm a bit confused.
