Error: Unable to communicate with vmware-vilogd daemon.

I've just been speaking to someone who got this error every time he tried to add a new server to vilogger.

He tried: sudo /etc/init.d/vmware-vilogd restart but this made no difference.

Only once he had done a manual stop and restart of the vilogger, he was able to add in his hosts to vilogger.

sudo /etc/init.d/vmware-vilogd stop

sudo /etc/init.d/vmware-vilogd start

Just thought I'd share that with you in case you come across the same issue.

Regards Simon
